Urological Cancers

The Harley Street Clinic is able to treat many forms of urological cancers including testicular and penile.

Testicular clinic

The Harley Street Clinic provides a fully integrated care pathway to assess, investigate and treat men with testicular swellings, testicular lumps and scrotal pain. Following a consultation with a consultant urological surgeon, further blood tests and imaging tests are organised in the Diagnostic Centre. In most cases a diagnosis can be established on the same visit. For those patients requiring surgery for testicular cancer, sperm banking is also arranged before the operation.

Dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy
for penile cancer

Patients diagnosed with penile cancer, also require an assessment of the lymph nodes in the groin to ensure that there is no cancer spread. Dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy detects the first draining nodes that the cancer migrates to. This minimally invasive procedure is offered at The Harley Street Clinic using state of the art gamma cameras at the Molecular Imaging Centre.
