Training
The faculty sets the most exacting standards and is proud of the success it achieves. We have a full-time educator on staff to maintain continuous development of the clinical skills of all nurses. Training includes one to one and group sessions internally as well as external courses. Our policy is that all our nurses should stay at the forefront of new techniques, practices and equipment.
The Harley Street Clinic also facilitates the European Paediatric Life Support Training course - advanced resuscitation training so highly regarded that the NHS pays us for places on the course for some of their staff.
Nursing staff are initially selected for a high level of expertise and experience and they are expected to bring new ideas on best practice from their previous hospital appointments. We have a culture of learning from each other - nurses are encouraged to be involved in the development of the Hospital and to take part in forums created to progress the overall quality of care still further.
