Medical care
The Harley Bear unit is home to a number of internationally recognised paediatric surgeons, paediatricians and oncologists. They work as a dedicated multi-disciplinary team supported by therapists, dietitians and pharmacists and we have specialist paediatric oncology nurses. Our paediatric staff are qualified in European Paediatric Life Support, an advanced resuscitation training.
Treatments are carried out in most specialties including cardiac, neurology, cancer, ear, nose and throat, dental, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and urology.
Paediatric cardiac care is led by International Congenital Cardiac Centre Medical Director Professor Marc de Leval. The centre is founded on more than 30 years experience of cardiology and cardiac surgery for children and adults with congenital heart disease at The Harley Street Clinic.
In the other specialties, the Clinic works closely with the Harley Street Paediatric Group which offers a full range of paediatric services under one roof.
